The Best Old People I Know:

Strike up conversations with strangers,

Laugh at their own jokes a little too much,

And over estimate their physical capabilities.

They’re always very glad to see whoever,

Are ready for a tussle to make sure they get to pay for the drinks.

They wear big smiles most of the time and banter with their partners,

They tell you with relish classic tales heard many times before, but you don’t mind because you’re enjoying their excitement of telling as if it were the first.

The best old people I know think that you’re brilliant and think life’s quite good really if you don’t take it all too seriously.
